Hi, I’m Michelle Pakron, an Interactive Creative Director, UX Strategist & Designer, and SharePoint Branding and Customization expert from New Orleans, currently in Houston, TX. I worked for a corporate intranet for almost 10 years and have been working with SharePoint since 2006. I most recently served as the Director of Creative Content and SharePoint Manager for Mississippi Interactive, where I designed and built web sites, applications, and mobile apps for the state of Mississippi. I was also the webmaster for the new, award-winning ms.gov, the official state website for Mississippi, which is a SharePoint 2010 site.

I am a web designer by trade, not a programmer or a server admin. Therefore the goal of this blog is to share SP related content, my tips and tricks, etc., all with the designer in mind. Not everything is branding-related-most of my job consists of actually being the site admin, creating all of the customizations, custom lists, dvwps, emulating small web apps using SP technologies, analyzing usage stats and search queries, etc.-so I will post information related to those topics as well.

As of October 2014, I no longer work with SharePoint on a daily basis, so my posts will be mostly up for archive purposes. If I start back working with SharePoint I will start posting regularly again.

If you are a fellow web designer/SharePoint power user, please say hi!

Happy Sharepointing!

  1. Hi! Great stuff! Keep up the good work! Thanks Michelle. You’re an inspiration! I come from the Gutenberg Gang 😉 Been working with prepress, print and webdesign since the days of Netscape Navigator Resize Fix.

    regards Thomas, SharePoint UX-Designer
