About

Hi, I’m Michelle from New Orleans. I have been working on a corporate intranet for nearly 8 years and have just completed the first major release of my company’s redesigned intranet in SharePoint 2007. I am a web designer by trade, not a programmer. Pretty much every resource out there for SharePoint is for developers and people much more technical-minded than myself. I know I can’t be the only UI person tasked with making SharePoint look like something that wasn’t vomited out of some Microsoft lackey. The goal of this blog is to share SP related content, my tips and tricks, etc., all with the designer in mind. Not everything is branding-related-most of my job consists of actually being the site admin, creating all of the customizations, custom lists, dvwps, emulating small web apps using SP technologies, analzying usage stats and search queries, etc.-so I will post information related to those topics as well.

One day I will make the blog pretty but not today-between my day job, freelancing and life, my time is limited ;)

If you are a fellow web designer/Sharepoint power user, please say hi-I seem to be all alone here in New Orleans!

Happy Sharepointing!
